At the core of everything we do is a simple belief: a community is only as strong as its most vulnerable members. The WaSammy Foundation was born from a desire to move beyond talk and into meaningful, tangible action. Our focus is clear — strengthening families, empowering women, protecting children, and building safer communities.
We do not believe in distant, top-down solutions. Real change happens when leaders step into communities and listen. It happens on farms, in markets, along village roads, and in everyday conversations. That is where our work begins.
Empowering the Family Unit
Families are the foundation of society, and when they are stable and supported, communities thrive. Through advocacy, resource support, and community engagement, we work to ensure families have the tools they need to succeed.
Supporting Women and Children
When women are economically empowered and children are protected and educated, the ripple effects are long-lasting. We believe in creating opportunities that restore dignity, expand possibility, and secure a stronger future.
Safety on Our Roads
Our Boda Boda Helmet Program is more than a distribution exercise. Each helmet represents a life protected and a livelihood preserved. It means a father, a son, or a brother returns home safely at the end of the day. It is a practical solution to a real challenge facing our communities.
Why This Matters for 2027
Leadership is proven long before elections. The Foundation reflects our values in action. Every initiative undertaken today lays the groundwork for the Laikipia we want tomorrow — stable families, empowered citizens, and accountable leadership.
The Person Behind the Vision
I am a Business Development Consultant by profession, a father, and a proud Kenyan. My journey has taken me from corporate boardrooms to the slopes of Mount Kenya, and from strategic planning sessions to working the soil of our local farms.
My background in business has taught me the importance of structure, efficiency, and sustainable systems. Development must be strategic and measurable. But beyond strategy, I am also a farmer at heart. I understand the patience of planting, the uncertainty of seasons, and the dignity of honest work.
At 45, I believe experience combined with fresh perspective is exactly what Laikipia needs as we prepare for the future. Leadership must be practical, transparent, and rooted in service.
“We are not just dreaming of a better future. We are working for it every single day.”
